BUSINESSMAN               UPSTATE & EDUCATION ADVOCATE

BRINGING POSITIVE CHANGE TO THE UPSTATE

About David

Born and raised with small-town values and a deep appreciation for hard work, I’ve spent over 40 years serving the Upstate—as an educator, businessman, and community advocate. From helping students at Wofford, Presbyterian, Clemson, and Furman to leading initiatives that have raised more than $700 million for education, business, and community growth, I’ve always believed in investing directly in people and progress. The Upstate isn’t just where I live—it’s home, and I’m committed to ensuring it remains one of the best places in America to live, work, and raise a family.

As a father of two boys, including one with autism, I know firsthand the challenges many families face. That experience has shaped my passion for expanding autism support and building stronger communities that serve everyone. My work founding and leading multiple businesses, alongside serving on nonprofit boards like Hope Academy and Greenville Tech Charter High Foundation Board, reflects a lifelong dedication to helping others succeed—whether it’s in the classroom, the workplace, or life itself.

I’m not running for a title—I’m running to serve this district. As a moderate Republican, I believe in practical solutions: term limits, insurance reform, fair immigration policies, and cutting wasteful spending. I’ll bring the same determination that’s carried me through 20 marathons and decades of community service to Washington, where I’ll fight for a stronger, more united America—and for an Upstate future that honors our values and builds new opportunities for all.

The Issues

Agriculture

Farming & Agriculture

America is standing on the brink of the largest agricultural crisis in our nation’s history — and few are paying attention. Our farmers haven’t turned a profit in years, and if this continues, we could lose half of them within two years. These aren’t jobs you can replace with a job posting — farmers are born, raised, and trained through generations of experience. When they’re gone, our fields go idle, our food supply weakens, and our rural communities collapse. This crisis is driven by falling crop prices, oversupply, and the loss of key export markets like China. We must act — by restoring USDA support, standing up for fair trade that prioritizes American agriculture, and ensuring our farmers can stay in business. Farming built this country, and we must protect it to keep America the breadbasket of the world.

Neurotechnology

Artificial Intelligence & Tech

Artificial intelligence is the next great technological revolution — but without swift action, it could also become one of our greatest threats. Like the internet in the 1990s, AI brings incredible promise, but also opens the door to dangerous misuse: criminals are already exploiting it to disrupt 911 systems, commit fraud, and spread deception so realistic it can fool anyone. In our schools, AI is eroding the integrity of education, allowing students to bypass learning and rely on machines to think for them. We must act now with strong, common-sense legislation that protects our communities, preserves the purity of education, and ensures technology serves people — not replaces them. America must lead with responsibility, keeping human values and accountability at the center of this new frontier.

Mental Health | Insurance Reform

Mental health is the silent crisis tearing at the fabric of our communities — it’s at the root of so many of our nation’s struggles, from school shootings to addiction to homelessness. Yet we’ve invested almost nothing to fix it. Every day, tragedies happen and barely make the news because we’ve grown numb to them. That has to change. We need to make real, lasting investments in mental health care, ensure insurance companies actually cover treatment, and stop cuts that hurt the most vulnerable — like the $25 billion in special needs funding recently eliminated under President Trump. Addressing mental health isn’t partisan — it’s about restoring safety, responsibility, and compassion in our communities. When we prioritize mental health, we strengthen families, reduce violence, and build a stronger, more stable America.

Capitol Building

Accountability & Term Limits

Washington has forgotten who it works for — the American people. It’s time to change that. We must demand real accountability from every elected official and full transparency in every corner of government. No more backroom deals or loyalty to special interests — only service to the people. Career politicians have turned Washington into a place of gridlock and self-interest, and that’s why I strongly support term limits. It’s time to bring integrity, results, and common sense back to our government.

Dollars

Eliminate Wasteful Spending

Washington’s reckless spending is bankrupting our future and endangering our national security. The federal debt is exploding by the trillions, and career politicians keep passing the bill to our children and grandchildren. I’m running for Congress to restore fiscal responsibility and discipline to Washington — to cut waste, protect essential programs, and make government live within its means. Every dollar wasted in D.C. is a dollar stolen from the strength and stability of our communities — and that stops with me.
